Our WPC Basketball League is gearing up for a fresh season of teamwork and fun for students in our area. Cost is $80 per student with discounts for additional family members ($70 for second child, $70 for third child, $40 for fourth child).  Register each student using the form below. Teams, practices, and schedules will be sent out once registration concludes. Late Registration will begin on Oct 26 and go until Nov. 8.  There will be an additional charge for late registion.

TIPS ON USING THE FORM FOR GUESTS: 

  • Enter the CHILD'S NAME and then the PARENT'S EMAIL to continue.  
  • If you have other kids to add, choose "Add another guest" (you'll add additional info on the next section)
  • Add each child's info (team, shirt size, etc) under each child's name.  If you see the parent's name here, then you click Edit, who's coming at the top. You may need to uncheck the parent's name if it's checked here.  
  • Use the Registration type for One Child ($80)** for the first child, the Second child ($70), for the second... and so on.  If registering four or more children, use the type Fourth Child ($40) for all subsequent registrations.  
    **If this is a late registration, you will choose "Late registration for One Child" which adds the $30 fee to one child only.

2024-2025 Basketball Information

REGISTRATION

Sign ups take place online only and will close on October 25, 2024.  A late charge of $30.00 will be added to register from October 26 thru November 8th.

AGE GROUPS

Age groups are determined by grade level. Select your child’s appropriate grade level from 1st grade to 12th grade.  Players are separated into teams as evenly as possible based on ability. ***Please no special requests for being placed on a certain team***

 

COACHES

Each team will have a head and assistant coach. Coaches are usually parents of a player and their children will play on their team.  If interested in coaching, please indicate on the signup form.

 

PRACTICES

Each coach will select practice times once teams are divided. Each team will choose a weekday or weekend practice time. Coaches will communicate this to their teams.  Practices will begin in late November. 

 

EQUIPMENT

Westminster will provide a jersey. Each coach will distribute these to players before the first game of the season.  The younger boys age groups and girls league play with a 28.5 basketball. Boys Age group 7th grade and above play with the full-size men's basketball 29.5.

 

GAMES

Games will begin in early December. Coaches will distribute schedules to their teams.  Games for the younger age groups will be played on Saturday morning.  7th grade and above games will be played during the weeknights.
