Justin Lewis | Associate Pastor for Smaller Communities
Justin was raised in Marion, North Carolina and studied Communications at UNC-Chapel Hill. It was in college that he met and developed a deep friendship with Holly while they were part of the same campus ministry. After they married, they lived in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, for a time before venturing off to seminary at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (Hamilton, Massachusetts) to pursue Justin’s Master of Divinity degree.
They returned to Winston-Salem and God began adding to the family with Tessa, Joshua, and AJ. Justin was ordained at WPC in 2017 after serving in various roles at First Presbyterian Church (Winston-Salem, NC) and First Presbyterian Church (Marietta, GA). Justin and Holly both have a passion for the Dominican Republic and serve with Mission Emanuel, a ministry which Holly serves on staff. Justin’s role at WPC includes launching and guiding small groups, teaching new member classes, supporting the Spiritual Growth Commission and weekly worship services.
Justin enjoys teaching, writing, throwing frisbee, Saturday morning pancakes, cheering for the UNC Tarheels and Boston Red Sox, sitting by a campfire, hiking, having spontaneous dance parties with his kids, and taking his wife Holly on dates.
